Baby’s crib environment is a good first step into the world of natural, organic products.
Babies absorb everything!
There are over 80,000 chemicals being used in consumer products and less than 2% are required to be tested for the long-term health effects. Because their immune systems are still developing, babies are the most susceptible to the toxins and chemicals that surround us every day. They also spend a majority of their time during that fragile first year of life in their crib, absorbing chemicals that touch their skin and breathing toxins that are released into the air.
That’s why we are committed to using materials that are organic and/or Oeko-Tex certified.
Our bedding products are Oeko-Tex certified. This is an international certification that sets limited on approximately 200 potentially harmful chemicals and substances. For a full list of the harmful substances that the Oeko-Tex standard addresses, click here (LINK to http:www.oekotex.com)
Organic cotton is grown and produced without pesticides and other harmful chemicals, causing a low-impact on the environment and eliminating babies’ exposure to toxins. Our toys are made with organic cotton that is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This certification ensures the textiles are grown organically, manufactured without harmful chemicals and produced in a fair working environment. Our toys are manufactured in a GOTS-certified factory and are made with organic cotton inside and out.
Better for baby’s world in every way
By purchasing organic and eco-friendly products, you are helping to make our children’s world better by reducing the levels of pollution in his or her immediate environment as well as the larger one we all share.
